Discussion:
Lupin's Diary by CECraft (the makers of IGolf) is a skinnable interface program meant to substitute for the bland standard apps for calendar, tasks and contacts. I was very dubious of using this program, but found it easy to use and enjoyed the many nice features built in to this beautiful application.
First, the installation of the program was easy, and went off without a hitch. The automatic installer worked fine, and the program ran without error on the first attempt.
The program itself is an interface that allows you to access your calendar, task list and contacts all in one application. The interfaces are nicely intuitive, with tabs to maneuver around in your views (which are fully configurable). The program has lots of options, down to animations that make the screens "slide" in and out with nice little clicking sound effects.
The program is also skinnable, and comes with several extremely beautiful skins to use and change. The screenshot below is taken from the autumn scene, which is my favorite.
The only downside I noted with this program was that it ran quite slowly, with some lag between screen taps and actions, on my E115. I did not rate the program low for this, however, since I also briefly tested the program on an Ipaq, and it was quite responsive and speedy. The lag is likely due to the slow processor speed of the E115 or may particular memory configuration. The game also runs from either main memory or a storage card.
All in all, I found this to be a very nice program, and if not for the speed on my e115, I would use it as my primary access to calendar, task list and contacts.
